The hype is confirmed for the BLAST.tv Austin Major as the tournament organizer has announced precise dates for both the Major Regional Qualifiers (MRQ) and the main event. Counter-Strike 2 (CS2) esports fans can now mark their calendars for a lot of action from the first Major Championship of 2025.

Main Event Dates For BLAST.tv Austin Major
The main event of the BLAST.tv Austin Major will run from Monday, 9 June to Sunday, 22 June 2025. The image below showcases the important dates as per a screenshot I took on 28 January 2025.
The first date is for ticket pre-sales to the event’s playoffs stage, if you can make it to Texas, since the BLAST.tv Austin Major will take at Moody Center! Of course, teams will compete for their share of the massive $1.25 million prize pool through four stages of competition.
BLAST.tv Austin Major MRQ Dates
The dates for the BLAST.tv Austin Major MRQs are as follows:
- EU: 14th-17th April 2025
- Americas: 15-17th April 2025
- Asia: 15-17th April 2025
We will see team invites go out for the MRQs based on the Valve Regional Standings from 7 April 2025.
