The next big Intel Extreme Masters (IEM) event from ESL is going to the land down under, aka Australia. Yes, I’m quite hyped for it, as the teams competing at IEM Melbourne 2025 mean a VERY high level of competition.
ESL has revealed all the Counter-Strike 2 (CS2) teams that will be attending IEM Melbourne 2025, invited based on Valve’s Regional Standings (VRS) leaderboards. Let’s take a look.
IEM Melbourne 2025 Teams List
There are 16 confirmed teams that will fight for their share of the $300,000 prize pool at IEM Melbourne 2025. The event is scheduled to take place from 21 to 27 April 2025.

These teams will compete in front of a live crowd at the Rod Laver Arena venue in Melbourne, Australia. The event forms part of the Intel Grand Slam, with NAVI and Team Vitality the closest to winning that cool additional $1 million.
