Format & Schedule For PGL Bucharest 2025
Mark your calendars—PGL Bucharest runs from 6 to 13 April 2025. The tournament takes place at the state-of-the-art PGL Studio in Bucharest, Romania, where all 16 teams will fight for survival and glory.

It all begins with a 16 Team Swiss System Format where squads compete in one giant group. All matches in this stage are BO3, with the top eight teams advancing to the Playoffs, and the bottom eight teams getting eliminated.

In the Playoffs, the remaining teams will compete in a single-elimination bracket affair, where the Grand Final is BO5, and all the other matches are BO3.
Prize Pool Distribution:
There’s a $1,250,000 prize pool to fight for. That’s a nice wad of cash.

PGL Bucharest 2025 sits firmly in the S-Tier LAN category, with 50% going to the squads and 50% going to the clubs.
