It’s been nine years since we’ve last had a Killing Floor title release. On 25 March 2025, Tripwire Interactive will unleash Killing Floor 3 on the world, boasting some incredibly intense co-op action from what we can tell. Yes, you’ll need some decent hardware to run it, which is why we are explaining the Killing Floor 3 PC specs.
If you are on PC, then you’ll want to ensure your gaming rig can handle the fight against the Zeds. We’ve got you covered with official Killing Floor 3 PC system requirements (specs) so you can plan ahead.
PC Requirements For Killing Floor 3
First off, the game looks fantastic, so keep that in mind. Further, no Killing Floor 3 ultra specs have been announced. We do know that the game requires an SSD to play, which has become a staple for most system requirements of modern titles.

Killing Floor 3 also features the M.E.A.T. system that delivers realistic dismemberment and persistent blood effects, creating a Zed-killing experience like no other. Considering all this, the Killing Floor 3 PC system requirements really aren’t that bad, with a low-ish barrier of entry not even requiring Windows 11. Check out the minimum and recommended Killing Floor 3 PC specs outlined in the table below.
Component | Minimum Specs | Recommended Specs |
---|---|---|
Operating System | Windows 10 | Windows 10 |
Processor | Intel Core i7-4790 or AMD Ryzen 5 2600 | AMD Ryzen 7 7700X or Intel Core i9700k |
Memory (RAM) | 16 GB | 16 GB |
Graphics Card | NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 or AMD Radeon RX 480 | NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 or AMD Radeon RX 6750 XT |
Storage | 20 GB (SSD required) | 20 GB (SSD required) |
DirectX | Version 12 | Version 12 |
In case you haven’t figured it out, Killing Floor 3 uses Unreal Engine 5. Both the minimum and recommended specs only ask for 16 GB of RAM, but I do feel like for the smoothest experience, 32 GB would be better.

Check out an official description below to get the blood flowing, and those trigger fingers ready for the game’s release.
It’s 2091. Join up with Nightfall, the last line of defense against megacorp Horzine’s inhuman army of monstrous zeds. The future is in your hands… if you can survive long enough to reach it. Killing Floor 3 is the next installment in the legendary action/horror series. This intense FPS puts you in the boots of a Nightfall specialist joining forces with up to five teammates to battle waves of Zeds, earn dosh, unlock skills, and build the ultimate arsenal.
Last but not least, the required storage is on the low side. We’ll have to wait and see if the free space requirement really does stick to roughly 20 GB, or if it balloons with a Day 1 update.
Overall, the game’s specs are definitely not bad. It could be way worse for a title releasing in 2025, such as DOOM: The Dark Ages, which requires an RTX graphics card to play.
