A new season officially begins when a new Battle Pass arises. At the time of writing, we are awaiting Diablo Immortal Season 39, which will be released on 4 June 2025. What makes times difficult is that the launch is 03:00 server time, which means a precise time depends on the timezone you are in. Our countdown clock locks in the release time in CET.

Each season of Diablo Immortal consists of a new Battle Pass, with 40 tiers of rewards to work your way through. While some seasons have become a bit stale, Blizzard keeps on pushing out content with tonnes of new cosmetics for players to get their paws on. For example, Season 35 (image below) had the “Traveling Blade” theme.
There are free versions of the Battle Pass and some ways to throw your wallet at Blizzard with the Collector’s Empowered Battle Pass. Whichever you choose, remember that each season also comes with new content and updates.
Some significant gameplay changes occur, or some new content comes out precisely one week before the technical start of the next Diablo Immortal season, marked with the new Battle Pass and Shop theme.
