I simply love a purrfect cat-related pun, cut images of kittens, or any type of feline content, really. That’s why I simply cannot wait to help out the kitizens of Kity Builder, an upcoming cozy city builder from indie developer Team Kity.
There are no limits or resources to worry about. It’s just pure fun as you create and watch your city grow in this lovely, cozy builder. Even the buildings double as toys, as you can bounce, climb, jump and even fling yourself through the air! You’ll also meet a cast of kitties, including Mayor Mewyor!
At the time of writing, there is no official release date or price. The game’s page on Steam only indicates “coming soon.” You can, however, wishlist Kity Builder on the aforementioned Steam page, which I’ve already done!
Kity Builder Game Features
Players will be able to create “charming cities” to make all the kitties happy. It’s a peaceful island playground where you can just create to your heart’s desire.

Who Is Team Kity?
According to a Press Release we’ve received, the developers, Team Kity, are described as:
Team Kity is a queer group of 4 friends from every corner of Spain. They met at a game jam in 2021, where the first version of Kity Builder was born. After reaching over a hundred thousand players across multiple web portals, such as Newgrounds, with this tiny, free version of the game, they decided to keep working on Kity Builder to release a full version on Steam. Team Kity aims to challenge game design conventions and create games without wrong answers, letting players get playful and creative.
I, for one, cannot wait to play Kity Builder from Team Kity.
