I can’t remember the last time I saw a short trailer for a park management sim and got super excited. That is, however, the precise feeling that Mars Attracts extracted from me as soon as I saw the game’s demo.

What Is Mars Attracts? Explained
Mars Attracts, from indie developer Outlier, is a park management sim that instantly reminded me of the classic “Theme Park,” mixed in with hints of Dungeon Keeper and Evil Genius.
Yes, that’s how hyped I am for this awesome game. After playing the demo a bit, I feel as if we might just have a cult classic on our hands. After all, the game is set in the world of the movie Mars Attacks, and the inspiration just seeps through.
As the park manager of Mars Attracts, you must hire staff, manage the needs of your guests, build exciting rides, and, of course, abduct humans like any good alien.
You’ll have to stop humans from escaping, meet the demands of visitors, and face “environmental hazards.” Exciting, right? Check out the key features for Mars Attracts, as per the game’s official website, below.

- Choose your team – You’ll need researchers to monitor your humans, janitors to maintain their habitats, and security to zap them when they break loose.
- Abduct humans from throughout history and display them in highly customizable habitats
