Ah, good old Todd Howard, the steward of Bethesda Game Studios, and one of the most iconic names in the video game industry. He is, of course, the director and executive producer at Bethesda Game Studios, a pillar of the industry, at the helm of The Elder Scrolls and Fallout franchises.
That’s some huge credentials, which is one of the reasons Todd Howard’s opinion holds quite a lot of weight. Well, some interesting news recently popped up on our radar, with BAFTA asking gamers from around the globe (the earth is not flat, deal with it!) to help them decide what the “Most Influential Video Game of All Time” is.
That’s when Todd Howard responded, with not one, but multiple answers. Classic Todd, to be fair.

First, Todd Howard noted that he thinks the most important two games of all time is Tetris and Pac-Man, for what these titles did for gaming overall, and bringing in the masses.
Moving on to his pick for the Most Influential Video Game of All Time, Todd Howard couldn’t settle for just one. Instead, he shared two choices.
Mr Howard picked the original DOOM and Super Mario Brothers. It’s fair choices, to be honest, and even if you disagree, we can probably all agree that they are at least solid picks.
Mr Howard noted that you can trace so much of what games are doing today back to DOOM and Super Mario Brothers. Yes, Todd Howard, yes you can!
