Blue Lock Rivals Kurona: How To Get, Moves & Awakening

Sure, the new World Class Style in Blue Lock Rivals, NEL Isagi, is all the rage right now—but that’s not the only new addition from developer Chrollo. Players can also unlock the Kurona Style, based on the character Ranze Kurona from the Blue Lock manga/anime.

The Blue Lock Rivals Kurona Style is of Epic rarity and is the only one available in-game that forces your teammate to pass the ball. That’s quite a big deal and can open up a lot of possibilities on the pitch. Let’s jump in head first and take a look at all the details in this comprehensive guide.

How To Unlock Kurona in Blue Lock Rivals

Unlocking the Kurona Style in Blue Lock Rivals is much easier than getting NEL Isagi. The only thing you need to do is use regular Style Spins (buy some for 2,500 cash or by completing various activities) and get just a bit lucky.

With regular Style Spins, you have a 35% chance of getting an Epic Style. Kurona is one of five Epic Styles currently in the game, so it shouldn’t take forever to unlock.

Pro tip: You can’t get the Kurona Style from Lucky Style Spins as Epics are not available, so don’t waste them!

That’s it! Now, let’s take a look at its gameplay details.

Blue Lock Rivals Kurona Moves, Awakening & Tech

Kurona is a unique and rather powerful Style, especially for one of the Epic rarities in Blue Lock Rivals. That’s evident by its base moves, Awakening option, and Tech at players’ disposal.

You can check out the base moves for Kurona below, with official descriptions for their effects and the default keys to press and cooldowns.

After leveling up your character enough, you’ll unlock the Awakening moveset for Kurona. The Awakening is called Cosmic Shark and requires you to have the ball. You’ll notice cosmic rays surrounding Kurona as the character dashes forward.

It’s pretty cool and allows you to use the Planet Hotline move. Press B to use Planet Hotline while you are in an Awakening state, which results in the following actions:

A cutscene plays where 2 players are in a cosmic area in which they pass the ball back and fourth 4 times together. After the 4th pass the bolded words, “PLANET HOTLINE” appear in the bottom right corner of the screen.

The Tech is quite powerful as well if there are multiple Kurona users. Its Tech is called “Two-Two-One” with the following official description:

Use Kurona and get an another Kurona user, then one of you guys get the ball and then you both spam One-Two. This makes the ball teleport instantly to the other person who doesn’t have the ball no matter the distance.

That’s it; everything you need to know about the Blue Lock Rivals Kurona Style, from how you can get it to the base moves, Awakening moves, and tech. Enjoy!
