Style Showdown is a fashion survival mode in Roblox Dress to Impress. This mode is where gamers get to compete against each other and the player with the least number of votes gets eliminated after each round.
It is important to note that the Style Stars you earn don’t count towards your server stars. That’s unless you win for the third time or more in the final round. Then, you will receive a hundred server stars and two hundred money.
Players get the maximum amount of three minutes to complete the theme of the round. The winner of the event receives one (1) of three (3) new items: a head accessory, gloves or an evening gown. The rounds consist of different themes, but every round except the first receives a challenge.
Challenges In Dress To Impress Style Showdown
There are three different challenges. One of them is “Limited Items,” where you will be allowed a maximum of six (6) items to complete the theme, including hair. Another is the “Speed Round,” you thought three (3) minutes wasn’t enough, well guess again. This time you only have a minute and a half to complete the theme.
Last but not least, the “Random Item” challenge. This time you will be provided one random item, it can be anything from a hat to jewellery or even an accessory, but be warned: you can’t unequip the item. You have to incorporate it into your outfit.
Elimination Twists In DTI Style Showdown
You thought the rounds were challenging, Lana, the host of Style Showdown, will leave you speechless with her twists during eliminations, so be careful. You thought your votes were anonymous. Well think again! Lana might do a “Vote Reveal” where the rest of the contestants would see if you voted for them or not voted at all.
A single contestant gets eliminated after each round. According to Lana, you are never safe in the bottom three. She decides who gets the final goodbye. If this didn’t come as a surprise, think again, there can also be a “Double elimination” where two of the bottom three get eliminated.
In the second last round of the event, when there are only four contestants left, the bottom two will pose it out during a “Pose Sync” battle for the final spot in the top three.
Don’t just quit the event if you were eliminated. You can choose to stay, be part of the jury and cast your last vote in the final round. Now that you are in the final twist for the top three contestants, you can give an extra Style Star to one of the contestants to help them achieve victory.
Using Immunity Idols In DTI
In eliminations, you can always buy Immunity Idols to avoid being eliminated. Still, if you were in the bottom three after the first round, in my opinion, I would not use the idol because you only get to the top three with most votes.
If there is no jury to give you extra style stars, you will not win first place in the event. The winner will be the one with the most Style Stars acquired through all the rounds.
