Looking to expand your rod collection? Well, you’re in luck because Fisch has plenty of fishing rods to unlock, each with its own strengths and weaknesses. Having multiple rods on hand gives you the flexibility to tackle any challenge the game throws at you.
This guide breaks down how to unlock all rods in Fisch—from early-game options like Flimsy, Stone, and Training Rods to end-game rods like Seraphic and Ethereal Prism. No matter what you’re after, I’ve got you covered.
Editor’s Note: This guide has been updated to reflect changes from the latest Fisch patch (v1.26) but does not include Second Sea rods. Please report any errors to agnesha@noluckgaming.com.
Why Are Fishing Rods So Important In Fisch?
Fishing rods are your primary tool for catching fish in Fisch. It’s what you’ll use to hook Secret Fish like the Crowned Anglerfish or Colossal Squid, making them key to tackling the game’s toughest challenges. Each rod has five unique stats, which can be modified with baits or enchantments.
These are: Lure Speed (affects how fast fish bite), Luck (affects your chances of catching rare fish), Control (affects the size of the white bar in the reeling minigame), Resilience (affects how much fish resist while reeling), and Max kg (affects the rod’s weight capacity).
Many fishing rods also have passive abilities that provide special perks, from boosted odds of finding rare Mutations to bonus stats that make reeling so much easier. Taken together, picking the right rod in Fisch can mean the difference between a small haul and a legendary catch.

How To Get All Fishing Rods In Fisch
The tables below will explain how to unlock every fishing rod in Fisch. Most rods are pretty straightforward to obtain and are purchasable after reaching certain locations—however, others are more challenging and require you to complete complicated puzzles or NPC quests.
To make this guide easier to follow, I’ve grouped Fisch rods into “stages,” starting with endgame rods and working down to starter rods. This way, you can quickly find the rods relevant to your progression without getting lost in a massive list (you’re welcome).
