To fight the Ghoul infestation, CCG investigators can open their shiny briefcases and wield powerful weapons. Not all Quinque are created equal, however, with some being much stronger both on the offense and defense.
Below, you’ll find our GHOUL://RE Quinque tier list, which ranks all the human weapons in this Roblox title from best (S-Tier) to throwaway trash (D-Tier). Keep in mind that our list is updated regularly, and considers any recent balance changes made by the developers.

What Is The Best Quinque In GHOUL://RE?
Our favorite Quinque is definitely IXA. It was used by Kishou Arima in Tokyo Ghoul, and in GHOUL://RE, it’s incredibly powerful. The lance-like weapon not only looks unique, but boasts some super powerful effects.
The IXA Quinque can attack quickly and dish out extremely high damage. It also has a ranged mode, allowing you to attack even if those pesky ghouls try to flee. Check out some official stats below.
- Critical: Thrust forward with IXA, placing a mark on your opponent, causing a tendril to explode out the floor if detonated
- Merciless (Z): Crouch down before moving at speeds unperceivable to the human eye, stabbing downwards with IXA after re-appearing, which will blind the enemy.
- Piercing Thrust (X): Lunge forward, repeatedly piercing your opponent with IXA before pushing them away.
- Switch (C): Swap between Ranged and Attack mode(s).
- Range Critical: Use the detached IXA to cause a twisting tendril to sprout from the ground in front of you, knocking enemies back.
- Range Ruthless (Z): Wind back slightly before dashing forward at high speeds, using the detached IXA to sprout a twisting tendril from the ground underneath anyone hit, flinging upwards.
- Range Shield (X) Change IXA’s shape, turning it into a shield that reflects all parryable damage. This skill can be feinted to be canceled early.
IXA is useful in any situation, fighting against Ghouls with the strongest Kugane, exactly what GHOUL://RE human players will want.
How To Get Quinque In GHOUL://RE
To start unlocking Quinque in GHOUL://RE, you must, of course, be a human and part of the CCG. Then, you must get promoted to Rank 1 Investigator.
At Rank 1, you’ll get permission to acquire a “fully-fledged” Quinque. This costs 1.5k Yen. Talk to the NPC at the CCG base sitting on the coach (image above) to now get your Briefcase item.
From here, you will have to hunt down your first Ghoul. The Ghoul must have their Kagune unlocked. Use the Briefcase item on the Ghoul when he/she is knocked down. If you happen to die while in possession of the Briefcase, you’ll lose it and need to repay the 1.5k Yen. Congratulations, you’ve just unlocked your first random Quinque. If you are looking for a specific Quinque, you’ll have to find a corresponding blueprint.
