Roblox is set to launch its most ambitious event yet, The Hunt: Mega Edition, offering a record-breaking $1 million grand prize. The event runs from Mar. 13 to Mar. 24 and invites players across all platforms to explore over two dozen experiences, searching for hidden surprises, rare digital items, and a chance to compete in the grand finals.
For players aged 13 and up, the competition provides a high-stakes challenge with the opportunity to advance to the top 10 leaderboard. These finalists will earn an invitation to Roblox’s headquarters in San Mateo, California, where they will compete in a live-streamed finale for the million-dollar prize. Meanwhile, younger participants can still enjoy exclusive digital rewards, including rare items—only 50 of which will be available during the event.
How To Join The Hunt: Mega Edition On Roblox
To participate, players must visit The Hunt: Mega Edition hub on Roblox and RSVP for the event. Once the countdown reaches zero, the challenge begins as participants race against each other in dozens of Roblox games. Among the highlighted experiences are RIVALS (a first-person shooter featuring 1v1 and 5v5 matches), SpongeBob Tower Defense (a strategic game where players defend Bikini Bottom), Basketball Legends (a fast-paced basketball simulator), IT GIRL (a fashion-focused game inspired by the Bratz aesthetic), and Fisch (a fishing game where players explore islands, catch fish in a vibrant, open world).
The competition runs until Apr. 4, 2025, and will be a contest of skill, with no purchase necessary to enter. Eligible competitors under 18 will require parental consent and supervision for the grand finals. Roblox has promised additional details and full terms before the contest launch.
