Vitality Claims ESL Grand Slam After Melbourne Win

In an incredible and utterly dramatic best-of-five grand finale at IEM Melbourne 2025, Counter-Strike 2 (CS2) esports fans looked on as Team Vitality narrowly beat Team Falcons to lift the trophy in front of a passionate crowd in Australia. With the IEM Melbourne 2025 win, Team Vitality also became the fifth-ever ESL Grand Slam winners.

Many gamers may not be familiar with this term. Well, it means Team Vitality has won four ESL Pro Tour events in the last ten events, which must include one Championship tournament. The prize: a cool $1 million for their efforts!

Team Vitality’s four tournament wins to claim the ESL Grand Slam include IEM Cologne 2024, IEM Katowice 2025, ESL Pro League Season 21, and now, IEM Melbourne 2025.
