Kojima Productions has kept the exact release date under wraps but the game is confirmed to launch this year. Specifically, speculation points toward a late-2025 drop—possibly around November. At the Tokyo Game Show 2024, Kojima confirmed the release date for Death Stranding 2: On the Beach was already set internally. However, “unforeseen circumstances” delayed its announcement.

With preorders reportedly including a $69.99 Standard Edition and a $229.99 Collector’s Edition, excitement is already building for what promises to be another genre-defying experience. That said, I suspect the SXSW panel could unveil the release date, alongside details of the physical editions.
