One Piece: Egghead Arc Part 2 Hits Netflix This April

Netflix has officially confirmed that Part 2 of the One Piece: Egghead Arc (エッグヘッド編) will resume streaming weekly in April 2025, bringing the next chapter of Luffy’s epic journey to subscribers worldwide. The announcement ends a six-month hiatus (beginning in October 2024 after Episode 1122) and will plunge fans deeper into the mysteries of Dr. Vegapunk’s futuristic island laboratory as the Final Saga of Eiichiro Oda’s iconic series unfolds.

The Egghead Arc kicked off on Netflix in January 2024 and has been a standout with its vibrant animation and plot twists, marking the beginning of One Piece’s climactic endgame. Part 1 saw Luffy unleash Gear Fifth against mounting threats, while Vegapunk’s secrets began to unravel. Now, with Part 2 slated to premiere alongside its Crunchyroll simulcast on Apr. 6, 2025, fans can expect heightened stakes as the crew faces the World Government’s wrath.

Though an exact Netflix premiere date is still pending, it’s likely to follow the same week-delayed schedule as before, possibly landing on Apr. 12. But wait—there’s more! Tomorrow Studios’ live-action One Piece adaptation (a runaway hit since its August 2023 debut) has wrapped filming for Season 2 in February 2025. It will explore the Arabasta Saga and should hit Netflix later this year.

Meanwhile, The One Piece, a fresh anime remake by WIT Studio is still in production and promises a modern take on the East Blue Saga exclusively for Netflix, though no release date is set. During the Egghead hiatus, Toei Animation has also kept fans engaged with a remastered “Fish-Man Island Saga,” condensing 58 episodes into 21 with upgraded visuals.

One Piece’s Egghead Arc will return on Apr. 6, 2025 exclusively on Netflix. Before then, be sure to tune into the Minecraft Live 2025 stream on Mar. 22 or grab the latest collection of Prime Gaming free games this month.
