I’m foaming at the mouth; and it’s not because of the T-Virus. No, instead, I’m just so looking forward to the next entry into Capcom’s iconic horror franchise, Resident Evil 9.
If you are anything like me, who thoroughly enjoyed the previous Resident Evil titles, especially the past two entries, then I’ve got some good news to share: A known industry insider with a great track record thinks we’ll see the game’s reveal this year!
Yes, I am talking about AestheticGamer aka Dusk Golem, who has hit the nail on the head so many times, his tweets are hard to ignore. Recently, the insider took to X to share some fantastic news with fans, when asked about Resident Evil 9:
It’s almost 100% for sure being revealed this year and releasing next year. Doubt they’ll delay more. The question comes if its being revealed this summer or at TGA for example this year, & if its releasing this fiscal year (ending March 31st, 2026) or next fiscal year late 2026.
Dusk Golem previously also mentioned that Resident Evil 9 will take place in a fictional, rural town on an island in the Southeast Asia region, specifically inspired by Singapore.

The point is, the news is good for survival horror fans! Will it be at the Summer Game Fest in July, Gamescom in August, the Tokyo Game Show in September, or The Game Awards in December? I, for one, cannot wait to find out precisely when Capcom unveils Resident Evil 9.
