The Blood Moon has risen—and it’s brought a wave of new content to Grow A Garden. Update 1.06.0 dropped on May 17, 2025, and while there aren’t any new redeem codes this time, there’s plenty more to sink your green thumbs into.

New Codes

Exclusive Blood Moon Shop
The headline feature of this update is the brand-new Blood Moon Shop. This spooky storefront only appears during Blood Moon events and offers limited-time goodies you won’t find anywhere else (all purchasable with Sheckles):
- Blood variant Pets
- Night Seed Packs
- Night Eggs
- Special Moon-themed Seeds
- A mysterious new gear item
Events
Five new celestial events and mutations add even more unpredictability to the night cycle:
- Blood Moon: Has a 33% chance of occurring instead of a regular night, can give bloodlit mutation, & makes the Blood Moon Shop visible
- Meteor Shower: Watch out above for meteors! Has a chance to spawn during the Night event
- Bloodlit Mutation: Obtained during the Blood Moon event, gives a 4x multiplier
- Celestial Mutation: Obtained during the Meteor Shower event, gives a 120x multiplier
- Zombified Mutation: Obtained through the Chicken Zombie passive, gives a 25x multiplier
New Pets & Crops
There are several new pets and crops you can add to your pet collection!
- Chicken Zombie (aka Chicken Jockey)
- Blood Owl
- Blood Hedgehog
- Blood Kiwi

You’ll also find new crops like the towering Beanstalk, juicy Moon Melon, and unsettling Blood Banana.

- Star Caller: A key tool to summon Celestial Mutations during Meteor Showers.
- Mythical Egg: Crack this open to hatch one of five mysterious new pets.
Fixes, Changes, & QOL
- Backpack sorting has been revamped with new categories
- Mutation indicators added for Moonlit and Bloodlit effects
- Various fruit rotation/save issues resolved
- Seed Shop icons now display both the seed and its resulting fruit
- Visual tweaks to Moon Blossom, Cactus, Papaya, and more
- Performance improvements across the board
- Mutations optimized to reduce giant frozen fruit bugs
