Grow A Garden Pets Tier List: Best Pets Ranked (Blood Moon)

Think all pets in Grow A Garden are created equal? Think again. With dozens of cuddly (and not-so-cuddly) critters to choose from, it’s easy to waste precious companion slots on total duds. That’s why I’ve ranked every pet from the absolute best to compost material.

Whether you want to stack great passives or just looking for the best returns from your Night Eggs, this Grow A Garden pets tier list will help you pick the perfect squad.

Think I’ve done a lousy job? Let me know by sharing your comments on X at @noluckgamingcom. I’m happy to hear what you think, no matter how much it hurts.

Pets can be obtained by buying and hatching Eggs at Raphael’s Shop or the Pet Eggs Stand near the Gear Shop (the inventory refreshes every 30 minutes). Typically, you can only have three pets per garden, but extra slots can be bought with Robux or via trading.

Many pet passives are stackable, but this doesn’t apply all of them—so it’s important to choose your pets wisely! Also, you can only keep a maximum of 60 critters, which why you’ll want to use my tier list to ensure you keep only the best pets in the game.

Here is my ranking of all the pets in Grow A Garden.

What Is The Best Pet To Choose In Grow A Garden?

The best pets in Grow A Garden has to be the Raccoon. It was added in the Lunar Glow update and can be obtained by hatching a Night Egg (1% chance). What makes the Raccoon so overpowered is that it duplicates a crop from another player every 15 minutes and gives it to you.

If you have an alt account, you can set up a plot by planting only valuable fruits and then duplicating those crops on your main to make a ton of ash. The Red Fox has a similar ability, but only has a chance to steal a seed from a random crop every 10 minutes (it’s not guaranteed).

If you’re looking for alternatives to the Raccoon, then the Firefly and Dragonfly are also really strong pets in Grow A Garden. The Dragonfly will turn a random crop Golden (20x value) every 5 minutes, while the Firefly has a 3% chance to give nearby crops the Shocked mutation (50x value) every 1.5 minutes.
