How To Get Plasma Mutation In Grow A Garden

There’s weird, and then there’s “giant laser-firing monkey” weird. And Grow A Garden somehow makes it work. The Plasma mutation is one of the game’s rarer crop mutations, but you won’t find it through normal gameplay. It only shows up during a Lazer Event.

Want in? Then keep reading! Here’s exactly how the event works, when it triggers, and what you’ll need to hope to turn your basic plants into glowing pink moneymakers!

How Do You Get A Plasma Mutation In Grow A Garden?

You can only get a Plasma mutation during a Lazer Event in Grow A Garden. More importantly, this is not something you can force. When the event kicks off, a massive monkey named Jantel appears and fires red laser beams randomly around the map

If one of those beams hits your farm plot, your crops will have a small chance to mutate into a glowing pink Plasma version. These Plasma mutation crops sell for 5x their normal value, which makes this one of the better passive boosts in the game!

How Do You Trigger The Lazer Event In Grow A Garden?

You don’t. The Lazer Event can only be triggered by admins, which means it’s completely out of your hands. It usually shows up during major updates or surprise dev visits (kind of like the Disco Event). You basically need to wait for a dev to join your server and activate it.

Once the Lazer Event begins, you’ll see the big ape spawn and start zapping farms. The best way to catch it is by playing around update windows or watching the Grow A Garden Discord server for hints. If you miss it, you’ll just have to wait for the devs to bring it back.

That’s everything you need to know about how to get the Plasma mutation in Grow A Garden. Now, go to our Roblox section to find even more awesome guides like this one!
